I am currently a student in the Master’s of Information and Library Science degree at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut. I earned my BA in history from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. For about the past four years, I have been a sales associate and Easy Tech at Staples in Branford and Milford, Connecticut. After little success in my job search, I decided that it was time to earn my master’s degree and started in the spring of 2010. Originally I was interested in archival and preservation work, but my interests have shifted towards reference and instruction work in academic libraries. I also have a healthy interest in technology and how it may affect our lives and the information profession.
My other interests include fantasy and science fiction novels, films, PC gaming, and roleplaying games.
